Tea Party Victory!

Congratulations to Dean Murray from the state of New York! Mr. Murray is undoubtedly the first tea party activist to win an elected office in a special election that took place. Mr. Murray won the election as a Republican, but he has been an influential organizer of tea party's in his area. In an interview with Greta Van Susteren, Mr. Murray related

And the important thing with that is the Tea Party movement is based on what the core Republican values are based on. The Tea Party movement is based on smaller government, about fiscal responsibility, and most importantly, and I think this is the key word for this entire year, "accountability."

This election shows us two things:

1. That the tea party, working within the parameters of the Republican party, is the best way for our voices to be heard.
2. That the Republicans will gain more seats if they embrace candidates that tea party members can support.
