At the CPAC convention Big Government founder Andrew Breitbart slammed MSNBC host Rachel Maddow. Breitbart was asked what he would do if he ran into Maddow and he replied
“I hope to see you and give you a lovely hug because you validated my hopes and aspirations and my business model because you’re so bad at what you do.”
Breitbart also acknolwedged the strong will, and power of the tea party movement:
“The left’s Alinsky tactics — that’s you Rachel Maddow — of isolating Sarah Palin or her poor children and beating on them, beating on them, beating on them ... [won’t succeed] with the tea party movement. ...You can call them racists and homophobes. But those tricks aren’t working anymore, because people are saying, 'This is ridiculous.’”
Breitbart is right, people are tired of the failed mainstream media model (if you could call MSNBC mainstream, but it certainly is modeled after mainstream media). There is a reason why Fox News is the number one cable news program. And a large part of that is due to the tea party movement, people are getting tired of the bias and this movement has brought the media bias to the publics attention.
