Russians invade Canadian Airspace
I didn't really know that Canada had such a problem with Russian fighter jets. Apparently the Canadian air force intercepted Russian jets en-route to scope out Canadian air space. But this is not the first time, the Canadians have to repel the Russians 12-18 times a year since 2007.
Why is this? No one knows for sure, but some speculate that it is because Russians still want to be relevant, and flying jets into Canadian air space with nukes is one way to get attention. Another reason is because Russia might see Canada as a competitor for the Arctic region. Apparently the Arctic region has vast untold wealth contained within it. This region is so valuable that even the Chinese leader (China does not border the arctic region does it?) stated that since China has 20% of the population in the world it deserved 20% of the arctic region.
Regardless the Russians aren't doing anything but making people angry, they better be careful with their strategy.

All Michelle wants for BO's birthday is $$$
Michelle Obama is sending around an e-card to Democratic supporters to sign wishing the President a happy birthday. Once you sign your name and email address though you are taken to a site where you are asked to donate money, with a disclaimer saying that none of this money will go to political candidates.
So who is it going to? Does the President really need private money to spend? Can't he already bill everything to the taxpayers? This whole thing is just kind of weird to me.
Here is the text on the donation page
Thank you for standing alongside us, with the President
Now can you make a donation to help us take on the year ahead?
This movement has done incredible work by contacting Congress to help push stalled legislation forward, by re-engaging supporters in the political process, by giving back with service projects across the country, and by doing so much more. Together, we have made history.
Now we need the resources to make sure we can continue pushing forward for change -- in this year’s elections and beyond.
Please make a donation today, using the form on the right.
GOP=Tea Party a sign of desperation of Democrats
RSLC Chairman Ed Gillespie was asked about the Democrats strategy of tying the GOP with the tea parties Contract from America. We have already seen how deceitful the Democrat's version of the Contract from America was written (what can you expect?).
Gillespie notes that it is a sign of desperation that the Democrats are announcing the midterm strategy already:
"They usually wait until October to start telling voters that Republicans are going to eliminate Social Security and Medicare. It is a sign of their desperation that they have started that in July this year,” Gillespie said.
If the Democrats main strategy is to tie the Republicans with the most popular grass root movement in years, then bring it on. People are tired of the deceit the Democrat spread, people are tired of deficit spending, they wanted change in 2008 and they got change for the worse. Anyway I agree with Gillespie, I think that the GOP will be pleased to have to deal with the tea party "problem."

AZ law ruled illegal
Federal Judge, Susan Bolton, has declared key parts of the AZ immigration law to be unconstitutional, setting off a firestorm. Democrats are hailing the ruling such as the Obama administration:
Obama administration officials said the ruling should force Republicans who sided with a bipartisan effort on immigration in 2006 and 2007 to come back to the table.
They just don't understand do they? The tea party had been losing steam, this reignites it like a pack of TNT. NM governor Bill Richardson had this to say:
"I find it incomprehensible that Republicans are almost unanimously negative on this decision," New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said. "It's just alienating Hispanic voters.…If Republicans continue to block efforts for comprehensive reform, they're going to suffer at the polls. "
Well it is not about the polls Mr. Richardson! It is about what is right and whats wrong! It's about obeying the law! It's about stabilizing the economy! Not everything is based on polls. Oh well Democrats live and die by polls, these other concepts are hard for them to grasp.

Deficit Spending California goes on Furloughs
So if I make $25 an hour, and I work free three days a week, that would be $7200 that I personally would be contributing to welfare programs. That gives me the warm fuzzies :D
Califonia, California, how long can you do this to yourself?
