
Gerald Seib of the Wall Street Journal asks an important question:
Here are two big questions hovering over this year’s congressional elections: How radical is the mood out there, and do Republicans have a real chance of taking back control of the U.S. Senate?
There is really only one important question here. The first one is just a mere echo of the MSM, we all know that the tea party is not radical for holding traditional values.
The second question though poses an interesting question. There are essentially four tea party candidates running for the Senate this fall. Will Republicans take back control of the Senate? The answer is simply no. If the tea party candidates win, they will support the Republicans on most issues, but they will not be beholden to them. On the other hand, of the Democrats win, they will not have control either. In neither of the scenarios do Republicans gain control of the senate. And I think that is a good thing. What do you think?
