Olympia Snowe, one of those RINO's (Republican in Name Only), is providing bipartisan support for health care reform. She proposes a trigger be placed in the bill. This trigger would allow the government to offer a public option if insurance companies don't meet specific criteria.
In essence this is nationalizing the health care system:
- Insurance companies will be monitored to meet specific cost
- They will be required to offer specific things
- Most likely they will have to accept preconditions
- If they fail in these three things the public option will kick in
But the key point here, is that these private companies will have to report to the government, and become complete slaves to their demands.
